SR9910-V7 Spectroradiometer

The SR9910-V7 computer controlled spectroradiometer is designed for the measurement of spectral irradiance and radiance in the ultra-violet, visible and near infra-red spectra. Using flexible fibre light guides and a range of optical accessories, many optical measurements are made possible, including chromaticity coordinates, total or diffuse reflectance and transmittance. Specialised software provides user friendly control of the instrument with data storage, mathematical analysis and graphing.

The first double monochromator spectroradiometer was produced in 1990 to meet the growing requirement to measure ultra violet radiation and in particular the UVB content of sunlight and artificial sources.

Since then the SR9910 spectroradiometer has be enhanced to it's latest version, V7 where it now boasts a small light weight package, a TEC cooled PMT detector and parallel monitoring with an external detector. The latter now enables the measurement data to be compensated during a scan to reduce the effect of constantly changing sources.

Applications include measurements on LEDs, fluorescent sources and visible and near infra red spectral irradiance.

PR450 Phototherapy Meter

The PR450 phototherapy radiometer comprises of a microprocessor controlled display unit with key switch control and large numerical display.

The detector assembly has a photodiode detector with optical coloured glass filters to give a spectral response peaking at 450nm, the optimum wavelength for the treatment of hyperbilirubinemia. A cosine corrected diffuser input assembly ensures the radiometer responds accurately to the position and angle of the light sources.

PM203 Optical Power Meter

The PM203 optical power meter can be used to measure the radiometric power in a beam of monochromatic or narrow band light. Using the internal calibration table the micro-processor controlled PM203 displays directly the optical power in Watts or dBm or the calibration wavelength.

The power meter can be configured with a range of optical accessories including attenuation filters, integrating spheres and fibre connector adaptors.

The PM203 is supplied with a silicon photodiode detector to cover the optical range 200-1100 nm.

The calibration wavelength can be selected by stepping in 10nm increments through the range or by selecting from the user programmable list of up to 16 pre-selected wavelengths.

The standard power meter with the silicon photodiode has a power range from 0.001nW up to 200µW or an optional range of 10nW up to 2mW.

With the addition of a integrating sphere coupled to the detector the PM203 can be configured as a CW laser power meter.

MCG910 Series

Monochromators using high efficiency diffraction gratings are found in many applications including the spectrophotometer and spectroradiometer. This series of monochromators have been designed and manufactured with a range of concave gratings to meet the demands of high precision spectral radiometry.

All monochromators have multi-position entrance and exit slits for a choice of output bandwidths. Grating motor control and drive electronics with PC software allow automation for routine spectral measurements.

These 100mm focal length monochromators are available with 1200, 900 or 600 grooves/mm holographic diffraction gratings for the ultra violet, visible and near infrared spectrum.

Eight position entrance and exit slit disks control the monochromator bandwidth.

All the monochromators have optional stepper motor wavelength drives, detectors, light sources, light guides, order sorting filters, integrating spheres and sample holders.

Model: Spectral Range: Dispersion:
MCG910 200 - 800nm 8nm/mm
MCG911 300 - 1200nm 12nm/mm
MCG912 400 - 1600nm 16nm/mm

UV203/3 Underwater Ultraviolet Radiometer

The underwater UV203/3 ultra-violet radiometer has a detector head housing up to three photodiode detector, filter glass and cosine diffuser packages, covering selected bands of the spectrum. The standard ranges offered are UVA, UVB and a flat, photometric-range response (RFF-Vis), but other responses are also available on request.

The microprocessor control within the display unit features auto or manual ranging, RS232 communication with a PC and special functions for integrating the signal or recording the maximum, minimum and average signals.

Each separate detector has an integral, multiple-gain-range transimpedance amplifier with signal digitising, providing high sensitivity and low noise measurements.

Further key designs features include;

- Fully submersible detector head up to 10 metres.

- Cosine response with individual diode/filter combinations.

- Aluminium body with resistant anodising.

- High stability silicon photodiodes.
