The prolific use of sun tanning ultra violet sources has created the requirement for a radiometer that has the ability to measure the output from a variety of different sources and also indicate if there is an incorrect lamp fitted.

To achieve this the UV202 has a different set of calibration factors for up to five types of tanning lamps. In addition the measuring head has both a UVA and a narrow band UVB3 sensor within the probe. Selection between the two sensors and the lamp types is through the front panel key switches.
